ZoBio was present in Rome for the XXVIII EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry.
The 2024 program promised to be as interesting and diverse as ever, covering significant advances in drug discovery across major therapeutic areas and it truly was. Key topics included bacterial and viral infections, as well as neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases, rare diseases, and cancer.
The conference highlighted the latest breakthroughs in new technologies, such as the targeting of RNA as a drug, the role of artificial intelligence in drug discovery, natural product-based drug discovery, DNA-encoded libraries, and the development of covalent drugs, PROTACs, and molecular glues.
Alongside our sister company, Oncodesign Services, we enjoyed many interactions at our booth and learned a lot from many inspiring medicinal chemistry stories that were shared!
