Introduction and case studies for the technology upon which ZoBio was founded. Since then, more than 100 targets have been screened yielding thousands of hits.

KMO is an interesting target for neurological orders. Here we developed a protocol to produce biophysics grade preparations of the membrane protein. We then developed an SPR assay that was capable of reporting on both the mechanism of action and the kinetics of binding of small molecule inhibitors.

X-ray crystallography is well known for providing high resolution structural information for drug discovery. When X-ray fails, solution NMR can provide an alternative route to that information. Here we developed a fast, yet robust protocol for success using NMR on proteins up to about 50 kDa.
