14th Swiss Course on Medicinal Chemistry in Leysin

In person

ZoBio is proud to be one of the sponsors of 14th Swiss Course on Medicinal Chemistry in Leysin!

This five-day Medicinal Chemistry School was organized by the Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology of the Swiss Chemical Society and focus on most modern aspects associated with small molecule drug discovery, highlighting the methodologies and technologies supporting hit generation, lead finding and lead optimization campaigns.

As in previous years, the teaching content was targeted at young scientists working in the area of medicinal chemistry, but also from flanking disciplines such as biochemistrypharmacypharmacology, or biophysics from the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

ZoBio was delighted to contribute to this special event. On Wednesday 12 October our CEO Gregg Siegal gave talk about application of Biophysics in Modern Drug Discovery. Marta Carneiro (Head of Structural Biology) was one of the tutorial leaders. They shared their knowledge using biophysics in various aspects of drug discovery with the next generation of drug hunters.

We greatly enjoyed the course which was filled with excellent talks, tutorials and fruitful discussions, as well as active networking between the experts and participants.
