{"id":4426,"date":"2024-09-12T09:31:31","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T09:31:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zobio.com\/?p=4426"},"modified":"2026-04-09T12:18:03","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T12:18:03","slug":"15th-swiss-course-on-medicinal-chemistry-in-leysin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zobio.com\/online\/geen-categorie\/15th-swiss-course-on-medicinal-chemistry-in-leysin\/","title":{"rendered":"15th Swiss Course on Medicinal Chemistry in Leysin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"xevent-place\"><strong>In person<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As in previous years, ZoBio was proud to be a sponsor of the 15th Swiss Course on Medicinal Chemistry in Leysin!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This five-day Medicinal Chemistry School, organized by the Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology of <a href=\"https:\/\/scg.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Swiss Chemical Society<\/a>&nbsp;, focuses on the most cutting-edge aspects of small molecule drug discovery, highlighting methodologies and technologies that support hit generation, lead finding, and lead optimization campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course content is tailored for young scientists working in medicinal chemistry, as well as those from related disciplines such as biochemistry, pharmacy, pharmacology, or biophysics, from both the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ZoBio was excited to contribute to this special event. On Thursday, October 17th, our scientist Stephan Theisgen presented a talk on the application of NMR in modern drug discovery.
