ZoBio contributes since the start of Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s (CHI) Drug Discovery Chemistry to this dynamic conference for medicinal chemists working in pharma and biotech. Focused on discovery and optimization challenges of small molecule drug candidates, this event provides many exciting opportunities for scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday 18 May Stijn Gremmen, Head of Chemistry at ZoBio gave the talk \u2018Fragments with a Future \u2013 a Path Towards Tractable Chemical Series<\/em>\u2019 and presented the learnings from multiple fragment hit to lead projects. The importance of a holistic view of fragment chemistry, orthogonal biophysical techniques and structural biology for deriving novel, tractable chemical series was illustrated through examples. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, together with other speakers Stijn participated in an interesting and educational Q&A session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
