These innovative therapies are particularly beneficial for targeting previously \u201cundruggable\u201d pathogenic proteins. The recent emergence of the \u2018molecular glue\u2019 class of protein degraders is paving the way for novel treatments aimed at addressing critical unmet medical needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In light of the excitement surrounding this breakthrough, the Society for Medicines Research was organizing a one-day meeting at the GSK Campus in Stevenage, UK, focused on the theme of Molecular Glues. Esteemed speakers from both academia and industry presented the latest advances in the field. Presentations covered a variety of topics, including the discovery of molecular glues, their therapeutic applications, and the cell biology that supports the molecular glue concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ZoBio was excited to attend the meeting for the second time. On Thursday, October 17th, our scientist Stephan Theisgen presented a talk on the application of NMR in modern drug discovery.
